The Finnish Forest Foundation’s fundraising permit enables the collection of donations to support activities that promote forest research, communication, wood construction, and forest education for children and young people.

Purpose of the Collected Funds
The Finnish Forest Foundation awards grants for:
- research and communication projects
- initiatives promoting wood products and wood construction
- activities that increase opportunities for children and young people to become familiar with forests and forest‑based work
- restoration projects that support biodiversity and climate action – for example peatland restoration, wetland restoration, or additional measures to secure deadwood continuity
Use of Funds
The collected funds may be used for:
- grant‑making activities
- personnel costs that enable the Foundation’s operations
- costs arising from reasonable communication activities
- covering costs related to workspaces and work equipment
