Information for Grant Recipients

Use of the Grant
The grant must be used for the purpose for which it was awarded.
Please take note of the following:
Accounting:
Keep all receipts and supporting documents, even though they do not need to be submitted with the report. The Finnish Forest Foundation reserves the right to request a separate statement of the project’s expenses if necessary.
Grant period:
The grant must be used during the period specified in the grant decision.
Use of funds:
The funds must be used for costs outlined in the project plan and directly related to the project.
Changes:
If there are significant changes to the project content, personnel, schedule, or cost structure, please contact the Finnish Forest Foundation before implementing the changes.
How to Report on the Use of the Grant
The grant recipient must report on the progress and results of the project by the date specified in the funding decision. The report must be submitted through the grant system under “Report”.
The report must include:
- lyhyt yhteenveto hankkeen toteutumisesta
- keskeiset tulokset ja havainnot
- apurahan käytön erittely (kululajit ja summat)
- mahdolliset liitteet (materiaalit, tuotokset, kuvat yms.)
The report must be submitted electronically in accordance with the Finnish Forest Foundation’s instructions. If the reporting schedule is not suitable or if delays occur in the project, please contact us in good time.
Visibility of the Forest Foundation
As a grant recipient, you commit to ensuring the visibility of the Finnish Forest Foundation in the project.
This promotes transparency and highlights the impact of the funding.
You can ensure visibility, for example, in the following ways:
- Add the Finnish Forest Foundation’s logo to the project materials
- Mention the Finnish Forest Foundation as a funder on websites, at events, or in publications
- You may use, for example, the following wording: “This project has been supported by a grant from the Finnish Forest Foundation.”
- If you share content on social media, you can tag the collaboration by including the handle @metsasaatio
