Forest Foundation's aims and fund use

Finnish Forest Foundation finances individual events like publicity campaigns and research projects. Forest Foundation can also fund projects that are part of a bigger project. Forest Foundation donates funding for one year at a time. The Foundation's target groups are in Finland, so funds are granted to projects in Finland.

Funded projects may be aimed at shcoolchildren, adults or other key target groups in Finland. Projects can be local, national or focused on a particular geographical area in Finland.

Forest Foundation funds grants in two different ways according to the sum of application:

• Big applications' (over 5000€) funding decisions are made by the Board of Directros.
• Transport grants for schools and other small applications (under 4999€) funding decisions are made by the Executive Director. The average time for handling is two weeks.
